Responsibilities

Senior Software Engineers and Architects work directly within the field of software programming and development of products for commercial deployment.

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

• Architectural design and implementation of software products for the Medical Imaging and Informatics industry
• Design and development of core application workflows and components (both frontend and backend)
• Design and development of frameworks and reusable components
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring for more junior developers
• Translate business requirements into technical use case and design specifications
• Develop test harnesses and unit tests for all code written
• Conduct design and code reviews
• Work with other development teams to ensure consistent architecture and design between products / projects
• Work with Product Management, Quality Assurance, Service, Sales and Marketing teams to ensure product meets market, quality, and maintainability requirements

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience with object-oriented development using either/or C++, C# and .NET technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of design patterns and n-tier multi layer application design
• A strong object oriented background and understanding of CLR internals is a plus
• Experience defining architectural design and end-to-end development of enterprise-class software applications for commercial release
• Proven experience in one or more of the following:
• Development of application frameworks
• Design and implementation of innovative graphical user interfaces including the development of custom control libraries
• Development of enterprise class middleware product (e.g. workflow engine, message queue, persistence framework, transactional cache, database, etc.)
• Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or related field

• A strong OO and C++ background including MFC, COM
  and memory management is a plus
• Experience with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
• Experience with Domain Driven Design is preferred

Job Description:

Responsibilities

The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for all aspects of material logistics management which include the following:

• Create purchase orders for all customer hardware and software. Responsible for Forecast Accuracy, P.O. Placement, Vendor Management and streamlining the Order Fulfillment process with vendors.
• Process purchase orders for all company departments (R & D, marketing, engineering, IT)
• Follow up and track hardware shipments. Coordinating the material flow between the supplier and the destination.
• Monitor and advise implementations and installation staff of hardware and software delivery time frames
• Arrange for shipping of hardware from Allendale location to customer when appropriate
• Work with onsite engineers and implementations managers to facilitate replacement of deficient or damaged equipment at customer's location
• Work with help desk to facilitate RMA's and order service replacements for hardware at installed base
• Communicate pricing to customers for post-sale items; e.g. : silk screened CD's, UPS batteries, and secure purchase orders from customers to process orders for same
• Participate in conference calls with client services, sales force and customers to plan for new complex configurations and upgrades for installed base

Qualifications

• Min Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with technology Purchasing (minimum 4 years).
• Familiarity with IT and networking components, architecture and configurations
• 2 years experience in high tech environment
• Demonstrated Ability to review sales contracts, recognize hardware and software deficiencies, and make appropriate recommendations/changes
• Demonstrated Computer Skills including all Microsoft Office Applications
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation and drug test

• Demonstrated experience with I/T network configurations
• Demonstrated Ability to analyze existing hardware for installed base and make recommendations to sales force for software and hardware upgrades and provide information to vendors in order to secure appropriate quotes.

• 2 years experience in high tech environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to clearly communicate to internal and external suppliers
